Hey bookdragons! So recently, I reached 2000 followers on Bookstagram (@scarletfangirl ) and I am beyond happy about it. Bookstagramming is my passion and something I genuinely enjoy doing. It has been a bit over a year since I started this and I don’t regret it one bit. This year in bookstagram has been mind blowing. I have had the amazing chances to rep for some really cool shops and make some amazing friends and just fangirl over so many things. It still blows my mind that people actually love the things I post and want more of them.
But I honestly couldn’t have come this far if it wasn’t for my amazing online friends and their ever growing support. I love them all soo much, so I figured I’d write a kind of appreciate post for some of my favorite bookstagrammers and ones I think you should definitely follow. This is by no means meant to be degrading to other bookstagrammers, because I’m sure there are loads of bookstagrammers who deserve to be loved and appreciated too, but these are just some I personally know and love. Also, this is in no order, I’m just writing them down as I go-
Starting off with one of my favorite,Garardien (@thehijabifangirl). Not only does she have a super gorgeous theme and feed, but she also has a great personality. She’s super friendly, and like me, is a huge fangirl of multiple fandoms. I love talking about different things with her, and her sense of humour is the best. Forever jealous of her feed. She also has a really cool booktube so you should go check it out.
Next up is Nabila (@rain_411), one of my bookstagram besties. She has been my friend from the very start and I am soo grateful for it. She’s one of the genuinely nicest and kindest people I have ever met. She’s always encouraging and supporting me. We tend to fangirl over a lot of books and tv shows together. (Cole Sprouse is love. Ok?Ok.) Thank you for always being there for me ❤
Ramisa (@sentencedbookworm) has one of the cutest feeds ever! She’s a fellow Bangladeshi bookstagrammer and so so sweet. I drool over her book haul posts everytime. She’s also an admin of the facebook booklovers’ group, Litmosphere , which is my favorite group of all time. It has over 3k members and all of them are bookworms. And everyone in Litmosphere asks more like a family than a random group of people who share a similar interest. If that isn’t the best group you’ve ever heard of, I don’t know what is.
Pahi (@dreamless.eternity ) , might not be your usual kind of bookstagrammer. She doesn’t post pics of only books, but also amazing artwork that she draws on her own! I’m like the no.1 fan of her artwork ok? I mean, just look at them! They’re freaking amazing! I can’t even express how much I love her drawings. They are the best. She’s also a hugee fangirl and we basically fangirl over everything 24/7. (#memequeen #spntrash #hailtheartqueen)
Nabila (@nawarb.bibliophile), is one of my all time favorite Bangladeshi bookstagrammers . She has a breathtaking feed and I’m so in love with her hardcover book collection. She’s also really friendly and she owns the very first ever book sleeve shop in Bangladesh ever (@a_bibliophiles_creation). Bangladeshi booklovers should definitely check it out cuz who doesn’t need gorgeous sleeves to keep your books safe from harm.

Next up is Athina ( @abookishdemon). She’s a huge lover of villains and going with the same theme, she’s also a Slytherin. But if you think Slytherins are evil and mean, throw away all your misconceptions, cuz Athina is one of the sweetest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. She’s such a cinnamon roll and she will spit fire if you say shit about her friends, but otherwise, she’s one of the bestest friends you can have because she’s really loyal and kind. She’s always encouraging and supporting me. (#lilsnake #feedqueen #whiteaestheticonpoint)
Anna (@panda_reads) is another bookstagrammer I absolutely adore to bits. She’s soo sweet and friendly and just speaking to her brightens my mood. She also has a super aesthetic feed and writes the most beautiful poetry I have ever seen. She also just opened a book blog so y’all should go follow her cuz I’m sure her posts are gonna be awesome (pandareadssite).
Tes (@paperbackbones) is the queen of flatlays. She takes the most amazing pictures and I keep on visiting her profile again and again to gain inspiration for my own posts. She is one of my bookstagram role models. She’s also super kind and I love seeing her small unboxings of various stuff on her insta story. (#actualflatlayqueen)
Jay (@paperimaginings) is another of my very first bookstagram friends. She’s also a k-drama fan and has a huge crush on Ji Chang Wook (I mean, can you blame her? He’s cute and hot). Her feed is so aesthetic and I will always wonder how she manages to take like 100 pictures at once and stock up beforehand cuz I can literally never do it no matter how hard I try.
And last but not least, a bookstagram recommendation post couldn’t be complete without this actual angel, Clara (@thebookwormofnotredame). She sure lives up to her username, by posting not only gorgeous bookish posts, but also super beautiful shots of amazing architecture and buildings around her city. I’m forever in awe of her posts and not only that, she also writes the most amazing captions for her posts which really make you think about a lot of stuff. She has a huge crush on Julian Blackthorn and her photo shoots cosplaying as Emma Carstairs are absolutely perfect. If she isn’t the actual real life Emma, I don’t know who is.
Anddd that’s it~ I had a lot more accounts I wanted to show appreciation for, but this post is already big enough as it is. When I asked for recommendations for this post from my friends, they gave a ton of names so I definitely have a lot more material. But I only chose the ones I am the closest with and absolutely love to bits. If this post gets good reactions, maybe I’ll do another one and this can be part of a series(hence the Part 1 in the title).
So, lemme know which bookstagrammers from this list you love and follow and leave a comment letting me know who you think I should feature in my next post. Love you all, bye.
